Lonely Planet’s first ever LGBTQ+ Travel Guide took to the shelves in March of this year, and has since been met with overwhelming success, receiving extensive media coverage across the globe.

  • The New York Times published a feature article on The LGBTQ+ Travel Guide highlighting the book as a resource for LGBTQ+ travellers, applauding its diverse destination recommendations.

Women Travel Solo

Women Travel Solo has struck a chord with solo female travellers, offering valuable insights and encouragement for women navigating the world on their own terms.

  • The Guardian featured a standout article titled “Don’t avoid romantic destinations: 15 solo travel tips from Lonely Planet’s women writers”, praising the book’s ability to transform loneliness into empowerment. 

  • In the US, Women Travel Solo appeared on CBS’ Great Day Live Tampa, where book contributor Lauren Gay spoke about her extract from the book, and how she regained her power once she began travelling solo.

Lonely Planet’s 100 Weekends in Europe has been widely recognised for its beautiful layout and practical approach to short escapes across the continent.

The book has generated great excitement across social media, receiving 1M in reach across Instagram in week one of our social campaign.
