Best in Travel 2025

Lonely Planet’s annual bestseller is still making headlines in the news, but this month it is because of the book's fabulous trends list, which was a new feature introduced this year that covers 10 categories of trending and up-and-coming travel themes. The theme that came out on top was the Best Beaches list, which has been featured on Australian Traveller, Stuff, Time Out, and Forbes.
Lonely Planet’s Chris Zeiher appeared on Weekend Sunrise to discuss the Best in Travel 2025 trends list. While over on social media, Tourism Australia also called out Best in Travel 2025 to their 5.8M followers.
Best in Travel 2025 has also continued to make headlines across all regions, in the UK The Sun featured a four-page spread on the book in their weekly magazine. In the US, SFGATE labelled the book as an essential product to help kick-start the new year. Women’s Day Australia published a fabulous two-page spread on Best in Travel 2025, highlighting one of the book's key destinations, Kazakhstan.

100 Weekends in Europe

Lonely Planet’s latest release 100 Weekends in Europe has generated great excitement across social media, receiving 1M in reach across Instagram in week one of our social campaign. Some key book influencers have shared their love for the book online, including Reader_ceygo (25K), Mandyisreading (15.5K), Allthegenres (13.1K), Reader_mama (12.3K), Chaptersinparadise (10.6K), and Reading_with_wine (10.5K).
100 Weekends in Europe has also generated several amazing reviews, which have featured in Stuff, Good Reading, Publisher’s Weekly, The New Daily, and Boekenkrant, a book reviewer in Holland.

The Tree Atlas

The Tree Atlas has been a huge success since its release in late 2024, when it garnered an array of media coverage from major publications. The love for The Tree Atlas has not stopped, with The Independent publishing an incredible piece about the book online.
The Tree Atlas has also been featured across a number of Australian garden publications, such as, Gardening Australia, Organic Gardener, and The Weekend Australian Magazine.
Live Wildly also voted The Tree Atlas as one of the best coffee table books of 2024.
